Terms of Service
Effective date: October 8, 2026
These terms apply to the website at primail.app, the documentation
published on it, and the Primail email client (together, “Primail”).
Primail is published by Guangzhou StarStack Technology Co., Ltd.
(“we”). By using Primail you agree to these terms. If you do not
agree, please do not use it.
1. What Primail is
Section titled “1. What Primail is”Primail is an email client that runs on your device and connects to mail accounts you already have. We do not provide mailboxes, email delivery, or hosting for your mail. Your relationship with your mail provider is governed by that provider’s terms.
2. Availability
Section titled “2. Availability”Primail is in pre-release. There is no public download today, and this website does not sell anything. See Availability for the current status.
When Primail is released through the App Store, your license to the app will also be subject to the terms presented there, including Apple’s standard license agreement unless we publish our own. If those terms conflict with these, the App Store terms govern your use of the app.
3. Acceptable use
Section titled “3. Acceptable use”You agree not to:
- use Primail to send spam, malware, or unlawful content, or to access mail accounts you are not authorized to use;
- attack, overload, or probe this website beyond normal browsing;
- misrepresent Primail or this website as your own product.
You are responsible for the mail you send and for the actions of any automation or AI agent you connect to Primail through its command-line or MCP interfaces.
4. Your content
Section titled “4. Your content”Your mail and your account credentials are yours. Primail stores them on your device and sends them only where needed to reach your mail provider and the services you choose to enable. We claim no rights in them. Our Privacy Policy explains the data paths.
5. Third-party services
Section titled “5. Third-party services”Primail works with services we do not control, such as your mail provider, Google or Microsoft sign-in, and any AI provider you configure. Their availability, behavior, and terms are their own, and we are not responsible for them.
6. Our intellectual property
Section titled “6. Our intellectual property”The Primail name, logo, website, and documentation belong to us or our licensors. You may link to this website and quote the documentation with attribution. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use the Primail name or logo to suggest endorsement.
7. No warranty
Section titled “7. No warranty”Primail is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The documentation describes the software as accurately as we can, but it may contain errors and may lag behind the software.
Email is important. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose, and remember that your mail provider, not Primail, holds the authoritative copy of your mailbox.
8. Limitation of liability
Section titled “8. Limitation of liability”To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Primail. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Primail in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this section and the one above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
9. Changes
Section titled “9. Changes”We may update these terms as Primail changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using Primail after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
