Dark mode & themes
Pick a light or dark appearance in Settings → Mode:
- Quiet Editorial — Light
- Soft Graphite — Dark
On the first run, with no saved choice, Primail follows the OS light or dark preference and then writes that mode. After you pick one, it does not keep following System Settings → Appearance.
Older saved names become Quiet Editorial or Soft Graphite.
Account color vs Mode
Section titled “Account color vs Mode”Mode changes the surfaces. Account colors are separate: a ring and unread-dot tint under Settings → Appearance → Color coding. See Rename and recolor accounts.
Reading text
Section titled “Reading text”Message-body typeface is not a theme option. Use Reading text size for Accessibility text size and zoom.
